ATVONTARIO ELECTS NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Elliot Lake, ON - November 22, 2006
Following its Annual General Meeting, ATVOntario Inc. (ATVO) announced today that they have elected a new Board of Directors and Executive to lead its marketing alliance.
The Board represents all 6 destinations of ATVOntario and is comprised of:
President - Andrew Ryeland (Georgian Bay) bringing extensive professional experience in concept development and communications. With over 40 years hands on experience in trails based Outdoor Adventure he is sure to be an asset to the Corporation. Vice-President - Cindy Cassidy (Eastern Ontario Trails Association) is the past president of ATVOntario and she has been instrumental in the creation of trails systems within Eastern Ontario for a number of years. Her enthusiasm and dedication will continue to strengthen the Corporation.
Secretary-Treasurer - Carmaine McCallum (Elliot Lake Tourism Business Alliance) has been involved in economic development for over 18 years. Her ability to multi-task is invaluable to the diverse opportunities presently before ATVOntario.
Directors - J.P. Ouellette (Cochrane Development Area), Glenn Draper (Mattawa Voyageur Multi-Use Trails System) and Mark Coles (Haliburton ATV Association) complete the Board of Directors and provide insight and experience rooted in community based ATV tourism and economic development.

ATVOntario offers an answer to the over 250,000 ATVers in Ontario and ten times that number in the bordering US states. As more and more outdoor adventurers turn to the thrill of discovery aboard an All Terrain Vehicle more and more tourism destinations are being developed to accommodate their unique and varied interests. ATVOntario is a not-for-profit marketing alliance established as a public/private initiative with the communities of Elliot Lake, Mattawa, Eastern Ontario Trail Alliance (Tweed), Georgian Bay (Parry Sound) , Cochrane and the Haliburton ATV Association. The alliance is enacting a community-based model for Shared-Use Trail tourism throughout the province of Ontario.
